About the Victims Centre
The Victims Centre, within the Ministry of Justice, provides victims with information about their rights, entitlements and the criminal justice process. It does this through the Victims Information website, Victims Information publications and Victims Information Line.
It funds Victim Support, a nationwide service providing victims with emotional and practical support, information and referral to other support services.
The Victims Centre also acts as the government’s central point of coordination for victim issues and leads stakeholder engagement to improve the design and delivery of services for victims.
For any administrative enquiries or to contact the Victims Centre, please email us at victimscentre@justice.govt.nz
