Staying safe
There are things you can do to help you and your family feel safer after a crime. This section has information on:
- how to stop the offender from contacting you
- orders to help protect victims of domestic violence
- how to keep safe online
- how to keep informed about what happens to the offender after they are sentenced, such as when they are released on parole.
If you're worried about your safety, talk to the police or contact the Victims Information Line on 0800 650 654.
If you're in immediate danger, call 111 and ask to speak to the police.
