Being a victim of crime can be a difficult, stressful and sometimes traumatic experience. This DVD gives an overview of the criminal justice system and how people affected by crime can get support.
In the DVD, victims of crime talk about their own experiences of the criminal justice system. We acknowledge and thank them for sharing their stories. There is also information from people who work in the criminal justice system about their roles, what happens and where victims can get support.
Thank you to the organisations who have contributed to this DVD: New Zealand Police, Department of Corrections, New Zealand Parole Board and Victim Support.
